Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 Update Arrives in India, South Korea, and Switzerland


The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update is now being made available by the South Korean phone maker in more regions of the globe. After the new firmware update hit the international variant of the smartphone on selected markets, the Android 4.4.2 update is now being rolled out in India, South Korea, and Switzerland for both Galaxy Note N9005 (Snapdragon 800) and Galaxy Note N900 (Exynos).

Aside of aforementioned regions, the folks at Sammobile have signaled that the same firmware update is now being pushed to the users in Italy (Vodafone), Slovenia (Si.mobil), Bulgaria (MTL), Spain (Vodafone), and the general “Baltic” area.
It’s also worth mentioning that the said firmware updates haven’t been yet officially confirmed on Samsung’s website, but Sammobile is usually a reliable source when it comes to Samsung-related reports.

As usual, the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is being rolled out in phases, so not all users will be able to download and install it right away. If you happen to read this from one of the aforementioned regions, it’s worth check for the update manually, if you haven’t received the system update notification. For a manual check you should head to Settings > More > About Phone > System Update > Check for updates, or grab the USB cable and check for it via KIES.

The Android 4.4.2 update has a size of 380 MB, so it’s recommended to download it using a stable WiFi network. The new firmware brings a couple of UI tweaks and KitKat-specific features like white status icons, transparent status and nav bars, Printing option in settings area, and more.

  3. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
    Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
